The mango tree is a tree that can live to 100 years old, but can only produce fruit after 15 or 20 years.
The mango wood we use to build our collections is from India, all following the rules of the art of fair trade. This type of wood is versatile; In its natural state, it varies from light to dark brown, showing yellowish highlights. Some planks showcase curved motifs, especially around the knots. Others will accentuate its grain with little dots and lines.
It is an organic material flexible enough to have it easily take a new shape when it is in the expert hands and a craftsman.
HOW TO MAINTAIN MANGO WOOD?
Mango wood is easy to maintain. Clean it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid dry dusting, as it can cause scratches, and avoid alkaline soaps, which can damage the wood.
